Self-guided hiking holidays in Slovenia

When it comes to hiking, Slovenia might just be Europe’s best-kept secret. With mountain scenery every bit as impressive as its neighbours to the west and a network of excellent hiking trails, ranging from short, easy tracks to peaks at more than 2,000 metres altitude, Slovenia is made for hiking.

The prime hiking area is the Triglav National Park, in the heart of the Julian Alps. This is an area of snow-capped mountains, vibrant green meadows, pristine lakes and rivers. From easy circuits around the serene glacial lakes Bled and Bohinj to more challenging trails in the heights of the surrounding mountains, Slovenia has rewarding walking holidays to suit everybody.

Both of our hiking holidays in Solvenia include hand-picked accommodation, welcome meeting on arrival, luggage transportation, detailed walking notes, maps and GPS tracks.
